Bio

Fabiola Hernandez is an Anderson based artist. She will be graduating in May 2026 with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in a Two Dimensional Studio Art at Sam Houston State University. She is proficient in acrylic and oil paint, drawing and mixed medium. Hernandez’s work primarily focused on hispanic heritage, Catholicism, bilingualism and items that are recognizable in Mexican culture. Her works have been in several group exhibitions in the Art department at SHSU. She received an “Honorable Mention” of Flat Werk 5 exhibition in Spring of 2025 in the Satellite Gallery in Huntsville Texas. She received a scholarship from the Turner Family Scholarship Fund in Fall Semester of 2025.
